European Markets are called to open flat to higher this morning. The IMF is expected to approve a 28 billion euro loan to Greece today.

Asian stocks swung between gains and losses as Japanese exporters advanced after the dollar rose against the yen ahead of reports forecast to show the U.S. economic recovery is strengthening.

The Dow Jones industrial average rose 0.1% and closed the session at 13,194 whilst the S&P average retreated 2 points and closed at the 1,394 level.

The FTSE could be affected by the news that ratings agency Fitch revised down its outlook on Britain’s coveted AAA rating to negative on Wednesday.
