Asian stocks slumped, dragging the region’s benchmark index to a fourth weekly loss, and global equity futures fell on concern the U.S. recovery is faltering and Europe’s debt crisis will spread. Oil led commodities lower, while bonds climbed and gold rallied to a record.
Wall Street got socked on Thursday as renewed concerns about the U.S. and global economies sent major indexes plunging and pushed gold to a new high and bond yields to a record low.
