Asian Stocks fell for a third day, extending weekly loss, after German Chancellor Angela Merkel ruled out common euro-area bonds and bigger role for the European Central Bank in fighting the region’ debt crisis damping the earnings outlook for Asian exporters.

US Markets

US Markets were closed yesterday for Thanksgiving.

In addition, Moody’ Friday downgraded Hungary’ credit rating to Ba1, below investment grade on fears that the government would be unable to tackle low growth, fiscal uncertainty and high debt.

In the US Black Friday, which marks the beginning of the Christmas shopping season and sees retailers offering big discounts to encourage shoppers and get themselves back ‘into the black,’ will be closely watched by analysts to gauge the health of the American consumer.
