Bombardier announced that it won an order for 10 Cseries planes worth USD 776 mn from Turkish Atlasjet, with an option to acquire another 5 planes. This is an important win for Bombardier as it is its first order from a budget airlines for the Cseries, which is gaining momentum. Despite increasing concerns that Bombardier has to delay the first delivery of the Cseries, the company yesterday reiterated that it is on track to deliver the first plane in c. 2 years.The Cseries has the potential to claim part of the pie from market leaders Airbus and Boing.
