CC Cancer Foundation proud to be supporting Terrytime.org

    Terrytime
The CC Cancer Foundation is proud to be supporting Terrytime.org, a website launched in December 2018 to help raise €500,000 in funds for Terry Farrugia, one of Malta’s leading radio DJs. Terry is known for having trained many known local presenters, supported local bands and artists, and also having been repeatedly invited to speak and deliver presentations at international broadcasting conferences in various cities throughout Europe.

He was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in April 2016, and has unfortunately relapsed three times after his initial diagnosis.

CC Cancer Foundation has joined many other companies and individuals in helping raise funds for Terry by donating €2,500 to this cause. The foundation augurs that besides helping Terry and his family, the funds will help increase more awareness on the different types of cancer as well as their prevention and cure.

Past events – Walk for Cancer 2013

The CC Walk for Cancer was held on the 17th of November 2013 and collected over €2,100. The family event, which saw more than 200 people participating, started with a quick warm-up from Richard Geres in front of Chalet, Sliema.

Participants then walked from Chalet to the Love Sign in Spinola and back, taking under 1 hour to complete the challenge. Upon returning they were graced with a great gig from Gianluca Bezzina and his band. The Health Department were with us on the day offering advice and material to help people stay healthy.
