Calamatta Cuschieri Investment Management (CCIM) provides investment management services for funds coverING a full range of asset classes.
Investment Management services are provided via specifically set up Investment Committees and are composed of a number of Portfolio Managers who boast significant investment management experience dealing in the international financial markets.
The main functions of the Investment Committees are:
- Issuing guidelines and parameters for the general investment strategy relating to the management of the assets of the fund in question.
- Defining a tailor-made Investment Strategy.
- Performing an in-depth Asset selection process and defining the asset allocation.
- Monitoring and reviewing the investment policy applicable to the funds in question.
- Monitoring the activities of the Portfolio Managers entrusted with the day-to-day management of the investment portfolios.
CCIM acts as an Investment Manager for International UCITS funds, Malta-based retail UCITS and non-UCITS funds as well as Maltese UCITS Schemes.
CCIM is registered under the laws of Malta, is a Category 2 Investment Services Licence Holder approved by the Malta Financial Services Authority (MFSA) to provide investment management services to collective investment schemes as a UCITS Management Company.

Calamatta Cuschieri was established in 1972 and is the most experienced Fixed Income Manager in Malta. We cover a vast range of fixed income instruments including corporate and sovereign bonds, cash and currency management. We beleive that fixed income markets are not perfectly efficient and that this provides opportunities to add value.
We bring a number of advantages to managing fixed income including a well-resourced fixed income team with a diversity of experience in investment banking, fund management and International market research. We take a specialist approach across regions, industries and sectors in conjunction with an active management approach to credit risk.
