Alan Cuschieri was elected to the Executive Board of Directors on the 9th May 2007.  Mr Cuschieri is responsible for the development, management and implementation of all the firm’s on-going projects. He also manages the IT operations and works in close partnership with the Management Board to ensure that the firm delivers best-in-class service to clients.

Mr. Cuschieri was responsible for the opening of the Qormi Branch (2009), Calamatta Cuschieri's upgrade to a Category 3 licence (2009), the founding of Calamatta Cuschieri Fund Services (2010) the upgrade of the company's IT infrastructure (2010), the introduction of the company's Discretionary Portfolio Services (2011), and the development of CC WebTrader as well as the company's new website (2011).

Before assuming his current responsibilities, Mr. Cuschieri offered investment advice and was responsible for the successful implementation of an ambitious modernisation project in 2003. He began his career at Calamatta Cuschieri in 1998 when he was appointed as a Trader for Fixed Income and Equity Instruments.

Mr Cuschieri graduated from the University of Bournemouth (UK) and holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) in Financial Services. He also obtained an International Capital Markets Certification from the London Securities Institute (ICMQ).
