Chris Saliba was elected to the Executive Board of Directors in September 2003. Mr Saliba directs the finance team and sits on the Investment Board, besides providing personalised Investment Advice to clients. Mr Saliba joined Calamatta Cuschieri as a Financial Controller in April 1994 where he re-structured the finance department and re-organised the company’s internal procedures and controls.

During the booming local market period between 1994 and 1998, Mr Saliba was responsible for the firm’s trading on the Malta Stock Exchange. Throughout those years Mr Saliba furthered his studies, becoming a qualified Investment Advisor and in 2001 he was appointed General Manager for the firm.
 
Prior to joining Calamatta Cuschieri, Mr Saliba held the post of Assistant Financial controller at the Malta Freeport as well as Management Accountant with Marsovin Ltd. Mr Saliba is an Associate member of the UK'S Institute of Accountancy Technicians.  He also holds an International Investment Advice Certificate (IIAC) from the London Securities Institute.
